Ping An Insurance and LIMRA Extend Partnership for Agent Selection
Windsor, CT, January 20, 2005 — Recognizing the critical importance of recruiting and developing a higher-quality, high-producing sales force, Ping An Insurance Company of China extended through 2007 its partnership to use a customized agent recruiting and selection system developed with LIMRA International. Ping An first teamed up with LIMRA to improve agent selection in 2001.
The test is part of Ping An's overall initiative to increase the quality and productivity of its sales force. The initiative addresses everything from candidate recruiting to agent management and development.
The latest update to Ping An's recruiting and selection system is a new custom scoring key that will help managers focus their recruiting efforts on candidates with greater success potential.
Drawing on LIMRA's many years of agent recruiting and selection expertise, the system asks candidates to answer questions about their life and work experiences and personality. Each candidate report reveals the candidate's success potential and includes interview questions about sales essentials such as Persuasion, Energy, and Analysis.
